As a licensed psychologist based in Oakland, San Francisco, and online throughout California, I offer trauma-informed psychotherapy for addiction, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and major life transitions, as well as support for positive growth and insight building.
I work predominantly with male-identified clients of ages ranging from adolescence to later life. I provide support for couples and families as well.
My therapeutic approach is based in positive psychology, and thus uses character strengths and a client-centered focus to guide recovery and growth.
I utilize a synergistic combination of eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), internal family systems (IFS), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), to offer a somatic and source-focused approach to treatment.
I received my PhD in clinical psychology from Columbia University and completed post-doctoral residency training at Kaiser Psychiatry here in the East Bay. I offer instruction, talks, and workshops throughout the Bay Area.
